Adele’s ‘Hello’ Dominates UK Top 40 Singles Charts!

Well, this was unexpected. NOT!

In what happens to be the beginning of an utter slayage of charts and records worldwide, Miss Adele aka Adelegend has arrived atop the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart this week with record-breaking sales of an astounding 333,000 units (including 7.32 million first week streams and 259,000 downloads) of ‘Hello‘- the first single off her feverishly anticipated third album ‘25‘ (out November 20th).

Hello‘ becomes the vocal goddess’s second UK # 1 single (after ‘Someone Like You‘), and is on course to become her 4th Billboard # 1 hit across the pond.

Hello‘ blocks the arrival of Justin Bieber’s new single ‘Sorry‘ from the penthouse, while Drake moves up a notch to # 3 with ‘Hotline Bling‘.

Over at the Top 40 Albums Chart, Aussie boy-band 5 Seconds Of Summer arrive at # 1 with their sophomore effort ‘Sounds Good Feels Good‘, while Canadian icon Bryan Adams arrives at # 2 with his new album ‘Get Up‘, his highest charting effort on these shores over the past 15 years.
