The genius that is Bjork has unveiled her 360-Degree interactive music video for my favorite song off her new LP ‘Vulnicura‘ – and this one will definitely leave you, well, Bjorked!
Originally an exhibit at New York’s MoMa intended to be experienced as a virtual reality experience – Bjork has finally added the clip on Vevo, which allows us mere mortals to experience her sheer madness. I love me some Bjork, y’all!
The clip, shot in the outskirts of Reykjavík, is directed by Andrew Huang, and is a stellar, transportive experience that lets you follow Bjork around the stunning Icelandic wind-swept landscape by simply clicking the arrow on the top left corner of the video.
I’d recommend watching the video on your smart phone to experience the madness in its complete gloomy glory – just move your phone around and enjoy the magic!
‘Vulnicura‘ – undoubtedly the elfin Icelandic chanteuse’s most personal work till date chronicling the break-up with Matthew Barney, her partner of 12 years – arrived in January this year to rave reviews and hit the top 20 of both the Billboard 200 as well as the UK Top 40 Albums Chart.
