It’s always amazing to see an artist use his or her platform to make a poignant statement about relevant social issues. We’ve witnessed Madonna, Janet & Michael do it back in the day – and blaze a trail for the likes of Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
Academy Award/Grammy/Golden Globe/Every-award-on-earth winning triple threat Jennifer Hudson makes a bold statement on marriage equality in the video for her latest single – club friendly ‘I Still Love You More‘ off her third studio effort ‘JHUD‘. The video follows a gay couple on their wedding day, and focuses on the relationship between one of the grooms and his father. In the end though, it’s a happily ever after for all of them, while Ms Hudson celebrates the union with some killer sashaying on the dance floor!
The Gorgon City-produced slice of retro-pop is easily one of the best tracks on ‘JHUD‘ – which was released in 2014 and debuted at # 10 on the Billboard 200, her third consecutive top 10 on the charts (her entire output).
