Bow down y’all, as a 72-year-old legend shows the youngins how it’s done!

Miss Barbra Streisand, eternal diva and flawless legend, arrives at # 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart this week with ‘Partners‘ – an all-star collaboration album with some of the biggest names in the business, all men.

With over 196,000 copies sold this week, ‘Partners‘ becomes the icon’s 10th # 1 album – the most among females – and makes her the only artist in history to boast of a # 1 album in each decade for the past 6 consecutive decades – dating back to her very first # 1 ‘People‘ exactly 50 years ago in 1964!

As if that wasn’t enough, ‘Partners‘ – which outsold Chris Brown’s ‘X‘ this week – also boasts of the highest first week sales by a female vocalist in 2014. The newbies should collectively kneel and worship the ground this woman walks on!

Overall, Ms Streisand holds the spot for the fourth most # 1 albums in history – a tie with Elvis Presley (who is featured on ‘Partners‘). The Beatles lead with 19, Jay Z with 13 and Bruce Springsteen with 11.

Over at the Hot 100, the estrogen fest continues as Meghan Trainor leads an all-female top 5 for a third week in a row with ‘All About That Bass‘. The top 10 boasts of two male vocalists – Sam Smith and Jeremih. The usual suspects Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, Sia, Charli XCX, Rita Ora, Taylor Swift hold the court over the rest of the top 10.

A special shout-out to Mizz Booty here – Jennifer Lopez. As predicted, her new single ‘Booty‘ roars up the Hot 100 and lands up at # 18 this week – thanks to the Iggy Azalea assisted remix which was accompanied by a butt-overloaded video that literally got 90% of the world’s horny dudes clicking and re-clicking YouTube and Vevo links.

Either way, a hit is a hit, and after 16 years of being in the game, Mizz Lopez still knows how to shake things up on the chart and notch another top 20 smash!
