Rare are the vocalists out there who can revive the 80’s throwback R’n’B-Funk the way the younger Knowles sister can.

Teaming out with Pop-Funk outfit Chromeo for the second time (after their 2011 collaboration ‘When The Night Falls‘), Solange Knowles unveils yet another moody masterpiece in the form of the breezy synth-pop gem ‘Lost On The Way Home‘, included on Chromeo’s 4th studio album ‘White Women‘ dropping May 12th.

I’m thoroughly, thoroughly digging this one y’all – the moody melody itself reflects the pain delivered through the song, as Dave 1 of Chromeo croons ‘And we can’t go back, ’cause there’s no back and there’s no truce/ In other words, it’s just no use‘, reflecting the frustration of a relationship gone dunzo.

Solange, of course, slays with her line ‘But you know it’s gonna take time‘ on repeat.

This one’s a track you can endlessly groove to – the next single maybe? Please?
