Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Songbird Supreme Mariah Carey has finally unveiled
her 4th her brand new lush-infused lead single ‘You’re Mine (Eternal)‘ from her often-delayed, feverishly anticipated 14th studio effort ‘The Art Of Letting Go‘, which drops May 6th.
The Darkchild and Mariah produced ballad sees the diva blending in elements of her 2005 classics ‘We Belong Together‘ and ‘Don’t Forget About Us‘ – replete with her iconic whistle register. This one’s a smooth and sexy affair y’all – and has just the right amount of mush to drag you into an endlessly erotic reverie.
Radio smash? Possibly. Baby-making mid tempo bed-breaker? Probably. Classic Mariah? Definitely!
The video for the single drops later tonight, and as per usual, I’m excited about the new era (duh). And while the Lambily commences a collective apnoea attack, check out both the original version of the song as well as the Trey Songz-assisted remix right here :
