Jason Derulo, Kings Of Leon Dominate UK Top 40!


Tennessee rockers Kings Of Leon blast in at # 1 on the Official UK Top 40 Albums Chart this week with their 6th studio album ‘Mechanical Bull‘. The band shifted an impressive 71,000 units of their album in the UK this week.

The set, which also becomes the band’s 4th consecutive UK # 1 album, battled it out with heavyweights Drake and Jessie J to come out on top – as Drake’s third studio effort ‘Nothing Was The Same‘ and Jessie J ‘s sophomore effort ‘Alive‘ arrived at positions 2 and 3 respectively. Last week’s chart topped ‘AM‘ by the Arctic Monkeys slips down to # 4 this week.

Over at the UK Top 40 Singles Chart, Jason Derulo commands the penthouse for a second consecutive week with ‘Talk Dirty‘ featuring 2 Chainz, while the parent album – his 3rd – ‘Tattoos‘ arrives this week at # 5.
