In case you didn’t know, Swedish singer/producer and Eurovison 2012 winner Loreen’s stellar début album ‘Heal‘ is completely, utterly and thoroughly free of any flaw whatsoever.
Pulsating Euro-pop/Dance is the mainstay of the album, and it’s the alluring melodies that she’s woven through those banging beats that sets this album apart from the slurry of Dance-pop saturating the airwaves lately.
It’s a pity that the 29-year-old ‘Euphoria‘ chanteuse has yet to see her album get a release date in the US.
After ‘Euphoria‘ peaked at # 3 on the UK Top 40 Singles Chart last year, I was over the moon after Loreen chose the devastatingly lush and haunting ‘My Heart Is Refusing Me‘ as the second official single from ‘Heal‘.
The cut, originally released in 2011, FINALLY gets a much awaited video-treatment, and director Liza Minou Morberg provides a stunning clip that does justice to the song.
The images of Loreen during the soaring chorus as she breaks it down is just about EVERYTHING!
Major chills y’all.
