Serial chart-slayer and occasional singer Rihanna’s live performances, although numerous, have not exactly been as slay-worthy as her chart domination now have they? Vocals have never been the ‘S’n’M‘ songstress’s thing, but then again so weren’t Madonna or Janet Jackson’s – Rihanna’s idols. When it comes to live performances though, the former two can unleash mass slay-age globally even today (Madonna’s ‘MDNA World Tour‘ is all set to become the highest grossing solo world tour of all time).
Lately(and thankfully), Rihanna’s taken this whole shining bright (like a diamond) issue very, very seriously indeed (in case you’re oblivious to normal worldly events – the girl just notched her first ever Billboard # 1 album with ‘Unapologetic‘), and post her 777 world tour, Rihanna has clearly decided not to stop performing EVER.
Europe seems to be Mizz Fenty’s latest target in her quest for world domination, and she seems to be visiting EVERY SHOW IN EVERY EUROPEAN COUNTRY EVER to promote ‘Unapologetic‘.
Recently the Chris Brown-molestee and ‘Umbrella‘ songstress decided to perform live on the insanely popular German show ‘Wetten, Dass…?‘, and chose a song that would truly be difficult to pull off live, her recent global # 1 smash ‘Diamonds‘ (the bazillion personal karaoke sessions in my bathroom bears testimony to this irrefutable fact).
And here’s the deal. She SLAYED. #phuckdaworld
Shimmering bright (like a diamond), the songstress unleashed pitch-perfect vocals to deliver a flawless performance of perhaps her most critically acclaimed song till date, and proved her global legion of haters wrong. And of course after her performance she gave a befittingly juvenile interview that was very expected of Rihanna.
