Song Premiere : Cassie’s ‘Balcony’ Featuring Young Jeezy

GET NAKED Y’ALL, BABY MAKING SLOW JAM ALERT!

The balcony, as we all know, is the BEST PLACE TO MAKE BABIES Y’ALL. Just ask R’n’B songstress Cassie, who’s much MUCH awaited sophomore extravaganza has been due for a few decades I believe. Dying a slow death here Cassie, RELEASE THE DAMN ALBUM WILL YOU? Until the follow-up to her 2006 self-titled début sees the light of day, Cassie has decided to unveil a baby-making slow-jam to keep fans pacified. Baby making music? A slow jam you say? I’m very here for this.

Produced by Rico Love, Eric Goudy II and Earl Hood, ‘Balcony‘ is a smoldering R’n’B/Soul jam featuring some rather seductive vocals by Cassie. Over a slow and sultry beat, Cassie lustfully moans –

‘I don’t wanna scream, I don’t even wanna tell you how good it is,
Because if it’s a dream, I’d only wake myself up..’

Oh my..!

Young Jeezy’s raspy Rap verses sorta irritate me though, and I’d prefer a Rap-free version of this song. It’s the smoothness that ups the baby-making quotient of a song y’all, and Drake would have easily been a better choice here, or preferably no Rapper at all. The last thing y’all want when you’re busy making your moves is a raspy gabby goat emulating metal being grated BANG in the middle of a song. Check out the lyric video for ‘Balcony‘ right here :
