Fun. And Janelle Monae Top Billboard Hot 100 For A 4th Week With ‘We Are Young’

It’s the mother of all charts y’all! And an interesting thing noticed this week? There are NO solo male artists in the entire top 10! There are solo male with featured female vocalists, and a lone boy band doing their thing, but it’s the women who’ve taken over! This week, Fun. and Janelle Monae’s ‘We Are Young‘ logs a 4th week atop the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, and sells another 387,00 digital downloads to surpass Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)‘ to become the highest selling digital download of 2012 so far, selling over a whopping 2.39 million digital singles!

Kelly Clarkson stays put at # 2 on the chart with ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)‘, and moves up to # 1 on the Radio Songs Chart. Which basically means that Kelly has the most played song in the US this week!

Nicki Minaj continues breaking new ground as ‘Starships‘ becomes her second solo top 5 hit after ‘Super Bass‘ last year, while she also becomes the only artist to have 2 singles within the top 10 this week, as her collaboration with David Guetta ‘Turn Me On‘ sits pretty at # 10.
