A video with some fierce choreography is ALL that I need to get by. And Dawn Richard’s new video for her single ‘Bombs‘ has quite literally surprised me (in a good way). In case you’re wondering where you’ve seen Dawn Richard before, she was a member of the group Danity Kane which was created at the end of the 3rd season for MTV’s ‘Making The Band‘, back in 2005. And they were quite big back in the day, considering both their albums ‘Danity Kane‘ (2006) and ‘Welcome To The Dollhouse‘ were Platinum certified Billboard # 1 albums, making them the first female group in history to début both their first and second album atop the charts.
Dawn’s new solo album is titled ‘GoldenHeart‘, and it’s all set to release later this year, and from the look of the new video, she’s pulling out the big guns for her solo career. The moves are fierce, think Beyoncé’s ‘Run The World (Girls)‘ meets Missy Elliot and Ciara’s ‘Lose Control‘ meets Janet Jackson’s ‘Together Again‘. Watch the video for ‘Bombs‘ right here :
