Fun.’s ‘We Are Young’ Featuring Janelle Monae Tops Billboard Hot 100, Gotye Enters Top 5

Fun. and Janelle Monae top the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week in a row with their smash ‘We Are Young‘, selling 322,000 digital downloads this week, topping the Digital Songs Chart. The song also gains on airplay, moving up from # 41 to 19 on the Radio Songs Chart. It’s a relatively slow chart week , with the songs from # 1 to # 4 remaining non-movers on the Billboard Hot 100.

The first major movement on the chart is the # 9 to # 5 leap by Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know‘ featuring Kimbra. I wouldn’t be surprised if it displaces Fun. and Janelle from # 1 within the next few weeks itself.

Kelly Clarkson and Adele maintain their positions at # 2 and # 3 with ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)‘ and ‘Set Fire To The Rain‘ respectively, both former # 1’s.

Boy-band mania continues as The Wanted’s ‘Glad You Came‘ remains a non-moverĀ at # 4.

Drake and Rihanna re-enter the top 10 with their duet ‘Take Care‘ at # 7.

Nicki MinajĀ places at # 6 as a guest vocalist on David Guetta’s ‘Turn Me On‘, as well as at # 9 with ‘Starships‘. She thus becomes the only artist this week with 2 songs within the top 10.

Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg slip a notch to # 8 this week with ‘Young, Wild And Free‘ featuring Bruno Mars.

Katy Perry rounds off the top 10 with her former # 1 ‘Part Of Me‘.
