Let the battle begin! Bruce Springsteen’s new album ‘Wrecking Ball‘ is being threatened by none other than chart titan Adele, as her sophomore smash ‘21‘ is going head-to-head with The Boss’s new album, both vying for the coveted # 1 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart this week.
According to early sales predictions, both Adele’s ‘21‘ and Springsteen’s ‘Wrecking Ball‘ should sell around 200, 000 copies by the end of this tracking week. If Adele manages to top the chart yet again for a 24th week, she will equal the record set by Prince And The Revolution’s ‘Purple Rain’ soundtrack which topped the charts for 24 weeks back in 1984-85. If Bruce Springsteen tops the Billboard 200 with ‘Wrecking Ball‘, it’ll be his 10th album to do so.
Interesting chart week ahead! Stay tuned for the latest updates!
