David Guetta And Sia’s ‘Titanium’ Tops UK Top 40 Singles Chart (Finally!), Lana Del Rey Debuts Atop Albums Chart

While the entire world was caught up in the Super Bowl frenzy, also knows as the Madonna-Bowl for obvs reasons (duh), something very amazing just happened in the UK. This incredible song called ‘Titanium‘ by David Guetta featuring one of the most under-rated vocalists of our times, Mizz Sia Furler, quietly made its way to # 1 on the UK Top 40 singles chart.

OMG YAAASSSSS etc.

This song is quite literally the best thing David Guetta has ever come up with, and ‘Titanium‘ becomes his 5th UK # 1 single. And a well deserved # 1 single it is, showcasing Sia’s flawless powerhouse vocals that the world needs to witness more of.

Sia simultaneously holds the # 5 position as a guest vocalist on Flo Rida’s ‘Wild Ones‘.

Also moving up the singles chart is a song that our blog can literally NOT get enough of. Gotye and Kimbra’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know‘ was already a massive hit in Australia when I had written a post about it, and the song has finally made it’s presence felt in the rest of the world as it charges up both the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the UK Top 40, where it reaches a new peak of # 3. I wouldn’t be surprised if it dethrones ‘Titanium‘ next week from the penthouse.

On the Top 40 Albums Chart, Lana Del Rey sees her dĂ©but album ‘Born To Die’ bow at # 1 with an impressive 117,000 copies sold in its first week. Lana’s single ‘Born To Die’ simultaneously moves up to # 9 on the singles chart becoming her second top 10 hit in the UK.
