Faith Hill Premieres New Track At The 2011 Country Music Awards

Country royalty and flawlessly beautiful chanteuse Faith Hill is finally back after a hiatus of almost 6 years with news of a brand new album and the première of her new single ‘Come Home’, which she performed live at the 2011 CMA Awards recently.

The song’s written by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, and was originally included on the group’s 2007 début album ‘Dreaming Out Loud’ and featured Sara Bareilles.

Faith’s version is more country, and she sounds positively divine after all these years!

Country music had been left with a major void after Shania Twain stopped performing since 2004, and the only female vocalist to have come to a close to Shania’s massive legacy second was Faith Hill. And Faith’s last studio album was the stupendous ‘Fireflies’, released way back in 2005. With Shania announcing a return to the music scene earlier this year, and Faith announcing her return to the studio earlier this week, country music just doesn’t get any bigger and better than this!!
