Rihanna Premieres ‘We Found Love’, New Album Due On November 21st

After teasing her worldwide legion of fans on Twitter for most of this week, Rihanna finally dropped her new single ‘We Found Love‘, produced by Calvin Harris. Fans are frenzied up to the extent that ‘We Found Love‘ has been trending worldwide on Twitter for the past 2 days now. Add to that her announcement that she’s dropping the new album, her 6th, on November 21st.

The track’s a club banger, the lyrics are generic, and this one’s custom-made for the dance-floor, pretty much the same as most of her stuff. The beats are off the hook, and this one’s gonna be a staple at the clubs very soon. The kinda song that leaves you breathless after you dance to it.

The anticipation for the song was built up to epic proportions with Riri releasing the song title, the song lyrics as well as the single cover on Twitter and Facebook, before she finally dropped the single today.

The lyrics are, well, lame. But then you do have a kick-ass beat to compensate for that. Here are the lyrics to ‘We Found Love‘ –

Yellow diamonds in the light
And we’re standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine

What it takes to come alive

It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny

But I’ve gotta let it go

We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place

Shine a light through an open door

Love and life I will divide

Turn away cause I need you more

Feel the heartbeat in my mind

It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny

But I’ve gotta let it go

We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place

Rihanna overdose anyone? Her last album ‘Loud‘ came out less than a year ago, and 6 singles from the album have been released back-to-back, 3 of them reaching # 1 on the Billboard Charts. She’s definitely making as much music as she can while the sun shines. Lets see if the new album becomes her first # 1 album on the Billboard Charts.
