Feist Returns After 4 Year Hiatus With ‘Metals’

Canadian Indie songstress Feist returns with her first album in 4 years, ‘Metals‘, scheduled for release on October 4th, 2011. The first single from the album is the mid-tempo ‘How Come You Never Go There‘, and it’s just been serviced to radio.

On her official website and Facebook fan pages, Feist has released a number of teasers for the new album. The teasers features snippets of the songs that made it to the final track-list of the album.

Feist achieved worldwide success with her 3rd studio album 2007’s ‘The Reminder‘ which spawned the infectious single ‘1234‘ that shot up the charts worldwide, after being used in the iPod Nano commercial, and reached # 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, garnering her a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

Expectations on this one seem high, lets see if this one matches up to the success of her last effort.
