Gloria Estefan Collaborates With Pharrell For Comeback Single ‘Wepa’

Queen Of Latin Pop Gloria Estefan is all set to make a comeback to mainstream pop with her infectious new single ‘Wepa‘, taken from her upcoming new album ‘Miss Little Havana‘ .

The 53-year-old 7-time Grammy winning super diva seems to have gone all out for her comeback vehicle, as not only has she sought a little help from Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, but has also recruited one of the biggest names in music today, Pitbull, to join her on the remixed version of the song.

One look at her in this special video of ‘Wepa‘ for Miami Heat, and it’s hard to believe that this damn woman’s 53 years old!! She’s moving and looking like a dream! The official video of ‘Wepa‘ will be out soon as well. Keep a lookout for that y’all.

Gloria’s sold over 100 million albums globally making her one of the most successful female vocalists of all time. And ‘Miss Little Havana‘ is her first English language album since 2003’s ‘Unwrapped‘.

This one looks like it’s tailor-made for the dance floors, and the Pitbull remix sounds cool too. In all probability this will be hitting the play-lists of your nearest clubs pretty soon.

Here’s the remixed version featuring Pitbull. He gives his signature touch to this one as well. Nothing too different from what he’s been doing lately, but the Gloria-Pitbull combo does sound pretty good.

As much as I love her Latin pop tunes, personally I enjoy her mid tempo and slow ballads the most, my faves being ‘Coming Out Of The Dark‘ and ‘Wrapped‘. Lets hope there are a coupla those on ‘Miss Little Havana‘.
